It is 8:11 am. I am on the train to Eindhoven and as a true commuter, I scroll through my Facebook timeline while yawning. There is certainly no shortage of content: one update after another flies by. Videos, gifs, memes. Slightly bored, I keep scrolling until I come across the update of updates. The Rolls Royce of video content. I sit down and dream away, while I watch the cooking process of a chicken skewer with relish. Of course you know exactly what I am talking about.
Tasty's videos
The BuzzFeed -initiated page is probably the tastiest Facebook page ever. One thing is for sure: b2b email list the page has seen immense growth. In March 2016 alone, the platform saw a 30 percent increase in engagement. In that same period, Tasty had around 50.9 million followers, while at the time of writing that number is 89.5 million. I also find that these are about the only videos I really watch on Facebook. From start to finish. And judging by the numbers, I'm not the only one who seems to be such a fan of Tasty.
Reason enough to ask myself why I find these videos so fascinating. Why do I have no trouble slurping down 3 minutes of Tasty content?
