In the Infographic Day series, we regularly focus on the use of the internet and social media. In this edition, a comparison of the use of various platforms this year with 2016. The infographic below was developed by Excela.com . They collected facts and figures about the use of various social media networks and websites and compared this with the data from last year. Specifically about activities that happen in 60 seconds.
The visual shows that we have become more active in the past year. In 2016, special lead 347,222 tweets were published per minute. This year, that is 350,000 tweets. Last year, 2.78 million videos were viewed on YouTube. In 2017, we watch more than 4 million videos in 1 minute. Every 60 seconds, 854,166 people log in to Facebook in 2017. In 2016, this was 701,389.
