“Gnuhuhuhu, Adaaaam, we demooooons have fooled you well!”
- What do you mean?
– Huhuhuhu, while you were fighting us, our forces were attacking your real treasury, your… gargoyle queen! We have kidnapped her and will only deliver her… in exchange for Doctor Frankenstein's diary! Meet us at the old theater, nuhuhuhuhuuuuu!”

as for Adam, he sets sail before being asked to go back and wait chained to his little industry email list chair, which is moderately entertaining, or even about as much as a game of Time's Up, which is saying something. Gideon, then, the best lieutenant of the queen of the gargoyles (who still got caught like a truffle because she was praying while the others were fighting, hats off to the artist), decides to accept the demons' deal: sure, the newspaper is super valuable, but without the queen they will be " vigilantes with no hope of reinforcements ."
At the same time, Leonore herself said that God was no longer sending reinforcements, so good. But I'm saying that, it probably doesn't matter, eh, it's just your dialogues.
So Gideon goes to look for the diary in his secret hiding place under the cathedral, which opens thanks to pieces of his battle axe that also act as keys (yes, the gentleman has a kit axe, because no, the film wasn't ridiculous enough: we'll call him Ikéhache), then once equipped, goes to the old theater where Bob is waiting for him accompanied by a few demons, and with Leonore as a hostage. The latter begs Gideon not to give the diary, but the guy doesn't care: he agrees to exchange the object for the grandmother. And as soon as he has it back, with a flap of his wings, he flies off and returns to the cathedral, probably to do something super important, more important than taking care of the leader of the demons who quietly pierced their defenses, like for example nothing.
Information travels quickly among the gargoyles
