On this glorious day of June 26th, this blog celebrates its 5th anniversary.
Whether you celebrate the event by religiously burning a cigar, a candle, or a bra, as you know, the event is an opportunity each year to look back and take stock of how far we've come. These are topics that interest you little rascals, but you know my big ego: I never resist the opportunity to talk about myself. In any case, whether you're a seasoned reader who's been following this vile site since its inception or a brand-new reader who's never even heard of Jean-Jacques's forest, let's get going, if you don't mind.
And you want it well because by coming here, we can never say it enough, you prove that telegram data you are people of taste.
So, now the blog is slowly approaching 300 articles (284 to be exact), which is starting to be a lot, especially considering that a number of people complain about having their retinas on fire before reaching the end. Supposedly, it would be too long: is it my fault if my contempt needs space to spread? We will also note this year the success of a few articles, starting with the series of engravings shamefully diverted to talk politics, and which prove once again (if the fake Facebook pages hadn't already done it) that, ungrateful world, when I write a long story no one cares, but when I put pictures, it goes down better. Next time, I'll do that with a Bigoudi album. Finally, and I congratulate the people, you are always more numerous to pass by here, which allows me to maintain my pride, thank you, therefore. Of course, the average person with a flawless memory will notice a slowdown in the blog's activity – which actually happens every year, nothing unusual – linked to a mysterious project (and no, it's not the editing of the blog, or at least not yet) on which I am not yet allowed to express myself without being shot dead in a minute by a Serbian sniper.
I thought a cupcake image was perfectly in the spirit of this blog.
But since the blog's anniversary is also an opportunity to announce upcoming changes, let's take advantage of it.
The change of the blog charter
Announced since the beginning of this humble site, we can feel that the big lazybones that I am are having some difficulty putting it into practice. Yes, I have heard your indignant cries: better organized articles, which do not necessarily appear in full when you search the archives, a classification system that allows you to find the spoiler of a 2011 turd in the blink of an eye... all this has been heard. But unfortunately for you, not having a passion for code, and despite promising initial offline attempts, nothing has been done yet.
Five years on the clock
