Although it only appeared in 2016, TikTok has succeeded in popularizing short-form content in video form. Initially, TikTok was launched first in China under the name Douyin by the company ByteDance.
The following year, ByteDance attempted to expand outside the Chinese market using the name TikTok. Since then, TikTok has become one of the most popular social media in the world.
TikTok content can be very diverse, such as educational videos, tutorials, line database and parodies. Users can upload short videos with a duration of 15 to 60 seconds accompanied by music or sound effects created by the user.

Duet . The function of this feature is to create a video that is displayed side by side with another existing video.
Stitch . Use a few seconds of video from other users through the Stitch feature and make the video clip part of your own video.
Stories . You can upload photos or videos that will disappear after 24 hours.
For Your Page (FYP) . FYP is a part of TikTok where each video appears based on an algorithm. The system will sort content that is considered relevant and interesting based on user preferences and interactions.
